What You Wear Makes The Day - and Your Luck as well

The outfits you choose tell others a great deal about who you are. Indeed, choosing the right color will not only enhance your charm, but help to enhance your fortune and luck as well.

In Feng Shui, each zodiac animal has its corresponding elements (五行):

Gold (金) – Monkey (猴), Rooster (雞)
Wood (木) – Tiger (虎), Rabbit (兔)
Water (水) – Mouse (鼠), Pig (猪)
Fire (火) – Snake (蛇), Horse (馬)
Soil (土) – Ox (牛), Dragon (龍), Goat (羊), Dog (狗)




Each element best reinforce (相生) with different color for enhancing Feng Shui and hence, each zodiac animal will have its own dress color to choose from. (For more information about the Five Elements, please refer to article: The Five Elements in Feng Shui)

Reinforcing Color

Monkey (猴), Rooster (雞) – Yellow, Brown
Tiger (虎), Rabbit (兔) – Black, Grey, Blue
Mouse (鼠), Pig (猪) – Gold, Silver, White
Snake (蛇), Horse (馬) – Green, Olive
Ox (牛), Dragon (龍), Goat (羊), Dog (狗) – Red, Pink

On the other hand, each element has its own upsetting (相克) color which will dampen the zodiac’s luck and fortune.

Monkey (猴), Rooster (雞) – Red, Pink
Tiger (虎), Rabbit (兔) – Gold, Silver, White
Mouse (鼠), Pig (猪) – Yellow, Brown
Snake (蛇), Horse (馬) – Black, Grey, Blue
Ox (牛), Dragon (龍), Goat (羊), Dog (狗) – Green, Olive

Additional choice of color is wearing the same color as your element.
